University Pathologists - Services - Specimen pick-up

· Our couriers visit the physicians' offices following a predetermined pickup schedule or upon request.

· At the physician's office, the courier records the date, time and number of specimen containers ready to be picked up. They also match the requisition forms with the specimen identification label.

· Upon delivery at the Specimen Receiving area, the couriers enter the same data into a specimen log.
